Certain areas of our community were greatly affected by flash flooding that occurred August 26, 2023 to August 28, 2023. Kanawha PSD is actively working with local, state, and federal agencies to address the challenges associated with the flooding as it relates to sanitary sewer service in affected areas. Inspection, evaluation, and repairs will be ongoing for the foreseeable future. We thank you for your patience throughout this process.

The Kanawha Public Service District is currently working on an ongoing sewer extension project to provide sanitary sewer collection and treatment services to certain customers in the Lens Creek area of Kanawha County, West Virginia.

The proposed project area is within the current boundaries of Kanawha Public Service District.  The District anticipates being able to competitively bid the project within the next 60 to 90 days.
