This is an update regarding flood damage that occurred in your area on August 28, 2023. The District continues to work in close cooperation with representatives from FEMA, the Regional Intergovenmental Council, WV Emergency Services, and New River Engineers regarding the flood restoration project. Engineers have been working with FEMA to develop a revised project scope and to obtain the necessary permits needed to make sewer repairs. Currently, the project is under environmental review at the federal level. Your continued patience throughout this lengthy process is greatly appreciated.
